So…it’s been nearly a year since my previous post. A lot has happened! I got married, got another house, another kid, another in the oven, I became a Private Tobacconist and many other things. You know how it be! Anyways, I’ve recently moved my websites over to Digital Ocean and I must say that I’m impressed. I reckon, they’ll be home for my sites for the foreseeable future.
Making the switch was rather painless as I was able to get a droplet up and running, basically, instantly.
This marks the beginning of my as-objective-as-possible, scientific-esque method based review of five of the most caffeinated coffees on the market. It should prove to be interesting. I’ll be going through several different brewing methods over several weeks to do this. I have to make this coffee last, it wasn’t cheap!
The coffees, of which I’ll be partaking, are pictured below.

Some things are more frustrating than others. Not being able to find something is on the top of the list of the most frustrating things. You know what else is frustrating? Witnessing someone that has no clue how to find stuff… especially on the Internet. People don’t seem to understand the simple concept of syntax. For instance, if you wanted to find out how to cook a steak. What would you write?
So…I’ve had quite the time getting the site sorted. Come to find out, it’s much easier than initially thought. So, getting the site created is pretty straight forward using Hugo. What isn’t so apparent is the method to install SSL.
So, I built the server, installed the software and configured everything. It took a little time and effort, but it was well worth it. I refuse to pay anyone to do anything that I can do myself ensuring that it’s done correctly.
So, in this here post I’ll go over my experience while installing Gentoo Linux on my Raspberry Pi B, 2011.12. A big thanks to my buddy Bobby for sending me a quarter-dozen of these wonderful things! The installation instructions provided by Gentoo, here, are nearly perfect. However, I hit a few stumbling blocks, likely due to the fact that the last time that I used Gentoo exclusively was around 2003. I’ll ensure they’re pointed-out, for those others who are out of practice or unfamiliar with the nuance of Gentoo.
